Production Process
Raw material selection: Choose high quality American cranberry as our raw material. It should be fresh, free from mold and pollution.
Cleaning: Clean cranberries with clean water to remove surface impurities and pesticide residues.
Crushing: Crushing cranberries to make them easier to come into contact with solvents and improve the extraction rate of anthocyanins.
Extraction: Mix the crushed cranberries with appropriate solvents (such as ethanol and water), and dissolve anthocyanins from the raw materials into the solvent through stirring, soaking, and other methods. Heating can be applied appropriately during the extraction process to improve the extraction efficiency.
Filtration: Separate the extraction solution from the residue, and filter materials such as filter paper and cloth can be used for filtration.
Concentrate: Concentrate the filtrate. During the concentration process, temperature and pressure are controlled well to avoid the decomposition of anthocyanins at high temperatures.
Drying&Sieving: Drying the concentrated anthocyanin extract by spray drying with desired size.
Packaging&Storage: After packaging, it should be stored in a cool, dry, and dark place to avoid anthocyanin decomposition.
